Anthony Mackie and Evangeline Lilly have joined the cast of DreamWorks' REAL STEEL, reports VARIETY. The story follows a former boxer (Hugh Jackman) who reconnects with his son via the training of robot boxers. Mackie will be a boxing promoter, while Lilly will play Jackman's friend.

Shawn Levy is helming. Don Murphy, Susan Montford and Levy are the producers. Steven Spielberg, Robert Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, Steve Starkey, Mary McLaglen and Josh McLaglen are the exec producers.
