Law & Order: SVU Star Joining True Blood?

TV Line reports that Chris Meloni, who left LAW & ORDER: SVU in the spring, is circling a role on the new season of TRUE BLOOD. He would play "an incredibly powerful vampire" on the hit HBO series. The actor is currently filming Zack Snyder's MAN OF STEEL.
