Kristin Davis (SEX AND THE CITY) will join the cast of JOURNEY 2: THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND, the sequel to JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH 3D, reports Deadline.com. The story finds Davis as the mother of a young adventurer (Josh Hutcherson) who with her boyfriend (Dwayne Johnson) travels to a mysterious island to find his missing grandfather (Michael Caine). Production has begun in Hawai'i.
