Kevin Costner has joined the cast of Quentin Tarantino's DJANGO UNCHAINED, reports Deadline.com. He will play an evil slave trainer. He joins Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson and Leonardo DiCaprio.

The film follows freed slave Django has he trains with a German bounty hunter in order to save his wife from a sadistic plantation owner.

The Weinstein Company will handle the U.S. release, while Sony Pictures holds the international rights.
