James Hong, Glee Regular Board R.I.P.D.

Two new thespians have boarded Universal’s R.I.P.D. Heat Vision reports that James Hong (BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA) and Deadline.com reports that GLEE's Mike O’Malley have been added to the cast.

The cast includes Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges, Kevin Bacon, Mary-Louise Parker, Stephanie Szostak and model Marisa Miller. The story follows a newly deceased cop (Reynolds) who is teamed with a 100-year-old cop (Bridges) to hunt down his murderer.

Hong will play Grandpa Chen, the image that living people see when they see Reynolds' character. O’Malley will play a ghost.

Robert Schwentke (RED) is directing. Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi adapted Peter Lenkov comic into the script. Reynolds, Neil H. Moritz, Mike Richardson and Jonathon Komack Martin are the producers. Dark Horse Ent., Original Film and Dark Trick Films are the studios. Exec producers include David Dobkin, Keith Goldberg and Ori Marmur.
