20th Century Fox is looking at Hugh Jackman as the star of its remake of FANTASTIC VOYAGE, reports Deadline.com. Shawn Levy (NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM) is directing with James Cameron producing.

Penned by Shane Salerno and Laeta Kalogridis, the story follows a team of scientists that shrink down and travel into the body of their colleague in order to kill the disease that is killing him.

The move keeps Jackman at Fox while the studio lines up a new director for THE WOLVERINE.
