Bryce Dallas Howard is set to take the lead in Clint Eastwood's HEREAFTER, VARIETY reports. Warner Bros. will produce the supernatural drama.

Written by Peter Morgan, the tale follows an American blur-collar worker, French reporter and London teen who all experience death in different ways.

Eastwood will produce with Kathleen Kennedy and Robert Lorenz. Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, Peter Morgan and Tim Moore are exec producing.

Production will take place in Paris, London, Hawai'i and San Francisco, with the film set for release in December 2010.
