Two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank has signed on to star and produce an adaptation of Radical Publishing's SHRAPNEL, reports Variety. Created by Nick Sagan and Mark Long, and written by Sagan and M. Zachary Sherman, the comic follows a former soldier who leads a rebellion on Venus. Toby Wagstaff (ARENA) will adapt the script.

Barry Levine and Sean Daniel will produce with Swank. Radical's Jesse Berger, Untitled Ent.'s Jason Weinberg and Long will exec produce.
