Henry Selick Signs with Disney/Pixar
Henry Selick has inked an exclusive long-term contract with Disney/Pixar, reports VARIETY. Selick will work in the Bay Area close to Pixar’s home in Emeryville, California. He plans to make stop-motion features based on his own ideas, as well as book adaptations.
Selick has a history making stop-motion features for Disney, having directed the wildly popular THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, as well as JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH.

fantastic! I can't wait to see more from this director! I wish he got to direct Alice in Wonderland. maybe it wouldn't have felt like a standard narnia movie.
