The Hangover Star Devilish for Paradise Lost

Bradley Cooper has begun talks with Legendary Pictures to take the role of Lucifer in PARADISE LOST, reports Variety. Alex Proyas (DARK CITY) is directing the big screen version of John Milton's epic poem.

The story tells of the war between archangels Michael and Lucifer, leading to the fall of Adam and Eve from paradise. Byron Willinger and Philip de Blasi wrote the original draft with reworking from Stuart Hazeldine, Lawrence Kasdan and Ryan Condal.

Legendary's Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni, and Vincent Newman Ent.'s Vincent Newman are the producers.

Legendary has a co-production and co-funding deal with Warner Bros.
