Columbia Pictures is putting together the pieces to move ahead with HANCOCK 2, reports VARIETY. Stars Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman will be returning, as well as director Peter Berg. Adam Fierro (24, DEXTER) and Glen Mazzara (THE SHIELD) are penning the screenplay. Only hints have come out about the plot but it will center on Smith and Theron's immortal gods dealing with a third immortal.
