Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister on GAME OF THRONES, has joined horror flick MAMA, reports Variety. He will star alongside fellow lead Jessica Chastain (THE HELP).

Andres Muschietti is directing the film, which is an expansion of his short film. The story follows a couple that take in their young nieces and nephews who were forced to live in the woods for five years and learn that the children are being plagued by supernatural forces.

Andres Muschietti and his sister Barbara penned the script with a rewrite from Neil Cross. Guillermo del Toro, Miles Dale and Barbara Muschietti are the producers.
