Game of Thrones Finds Brienne Tarth

Gwendoline Christie (THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS) has been cast in the second season of GAME OF THRONES, reports ComingSoon.net. The 6'3" actress will play Brienne Tarth, the skilled female warrior who dreams of being a knight. Her awkwardness and ugliness elicit ridicule. Filming will start this summer with the premiere set for spring 2012.
