THE LOS ANGELES TIMES picked up a report saying Lady Gaga might serve as a model for the Miss Piggy character in the upcoming MUPPETS reboot.

Jason Segel is writing the project, which for the time being is called THE GREATEST MUPPET MOVIE EVER MADE. According to the report, Segel envisions the modern Miss Piggy living indulgently abroad.

"Miss Piggy ends up becoming like a Lady Gaga-esque character living in Europe," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "Kermit ends up being destitute and the main characters find him living in squalor."
