Four More Actors See Red

Julian McMahon, Ernest Borgnine, Richard Dreyfuss and Brian Cox are all in talks to join the cast of RED, reports the Heat Vision blog. Robert Schwentke will direct the adaptation of the Wildstorm/DC Comics miniseries.

Bruce Willis stars are a retired black ops agent who must fight younger, more tech-advanced assassins that come to murder him.

McMahon is up for the role of an evil VP at the center of a conspiracy. Borgnine would play the CIA's secrets records handler. Dreyfuss would play a rich government contractor. Cox would be Willis's former nemesis.

Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, John C. Reilly and Mary Louise Parker have already signed onto the all-star cast.

Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian are the producers with DC’s Gregory Noveck and Jake Myers exec producing. Jon and Erich Hoeber penned the screenplay.

Production will start early next year.
