Alan Tudyk (TV's FIREFLY) has joined ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER, according to ComingSoon.net via Variety. The site reports that Tudyk will play Stephen A. Douglas, Lincoln's real-life opponent, who in the book teams with vampires in the South. He joins Benjamin Walker, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jimmi Simpson.

Timur Bekmambetov is directing from a script by book's author Seth Grahame-Smith. Bekmambetov is producing with Tim Burton. The film will hit theaters on June 22, 2012.
