Emma Stone has declined the lead role in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES, reports Deadline.com. It was reported last week that Lionsgate had offered her the lead in the walking dead and Jane Austin mash-up.

Craig Gillespie (LARS AND THE REAL GIRL) is directing from a script by the book's author and Marti Noxon. Natalie Portman, Annette Savitch, Richard Kelly, Ted Hamm and Sean McKittrick are the producers.
