Sony has moved the release date for Neill Blomkamp's ELYSIUM, reports Variety. The film will now hit theaters on March 1, 2013. Additionally, Deadline.com reports that Alice Braga (I AM LEGEND) has joined the cast in an unknown role. She joins Jodie Foster, Matt Damon, Wagner Moura and Sharlto Copley.

MRC is production company behind the film, which is being produced by Bill Block and Simon Kinberg. Filming is set to start in July.
