Vin Diesel is set to star and produce MGM's THE MACHINE, reports Heat Vision. Diesel will play a Pentagon-created robot that after being scrapped is discovered 20 years later by a kid who takes him into his family. Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant (NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM) penned the action comedy. While the project has no director yet, the studios want to begin filming in the fall.
