STARGATE ATLANTIS actor Jason Momoa has been cast as the title character in the CONAN redux, reports VARIETY. Nu Image/Millenium, Lionsgate and Paradox are producing the film.

Marcus Nispel is helming the film, which is set to begin filming in Bulgaria in March. Avi Lerner, Joe Gatta and Paradox topper Fredrik Malmberg are the producers.
