Dimension Films is getting back to its franchise roots and moving full steam ahead on SCREAM 4, the beginning of a new trilogy, reports VARIETY. Series star Neve Campbell has signed on, as have Courteney Cox and David Arquette. Dimension is in negotiations with director Wes Craven to return to the franchise he launched. Bob Weinstein hopes to begin shooting in April or May.

In addition, Weinstein announced that Robert Rodriguez is working on SPY KIDS 4, which will be shot in 3-D. The film will be a co-production with Disney and will film in March.
