Butler, Worthington, McConaughey Join Mo-Cap Iraq War Actioner
Freedom Films reports it has hired Gerard Butler, Sam Worthington and Matthew McConaughey for their Iraq War actioner THUNDER RUN. Simon West (CON AIR) will direct the 3-D performance capture feature.
Based on David Zucchino's novel, the story follows the 2003 capture of Baghdad by less than a thousand soldiers. Robert Port and Ken Nolan (BLACK HAWK DOWN) wrote the script.
Freedom Films' Brian Presley, Carissa Buffel and Kevin Matusow and Graphic Film Co.'s Jib Polhemus are the producers.
Hyde Park Intl. will rep international sales.
