20th Century Fox has picked up the rights to the British TV series RENTAGHOST, reports Deadline.com. Ben Stiller will star and produce with NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM scribes Tom Lennon and Robert Ben Garant penning the script. The film version will see Stiller as a corporate turnaround expert traveling to England to help a troubled company. The original show followed a company that rented out ghosts for various odd jobs.

BermanBraun's Gail Berman and Langley Park's Kevin McCormick are the producers. Previously, the producers tried to set up a remake of the series at Warner Bros. with Russell Brand in the lead, but Brand backed out after his previous remake of ARTHUR failed at the box office.
