Aykroyd Dishes Ghostbusters 3 Details

On the Dennis Miller radio show, Dan Aykroyd gave details on GHOSTBUSTERS 3. The actor said that the film would go into production in spring 2012 with or without Bill Murray.

Plotwise Aykroyd says his character Ray will be blind in one eye, which will keep him from driving the Cadillac, while Harold Ramis is so heavy that he can't get on his proton-pack. This leads to the original Ghostbusters to seek out new blood. Aykroyd dropped one name as a potential new team member — CRIMINAL MINDS' Matthew Gray Gubler. However, he added that no casting has begun for the three new Ghostbusters and the young female romantic lead.
