ABC Starts Flash Forwarding During Lost

ABC will launch an early marketing campaign for new sci-fi show FLASH FORWARD, starting with LOST's 100th episode next week, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER's The Live Feed.

The mysterious spots during commercial breaks will direct viewers to a web site, but will be for FLASH FORWARD, even though the network has not yet picked up the show officially.

FLASH stars Joseph Fiennes and is based on Robert J. Sawyer's sci-fi novel. It chronicles the aftermath of a worldwide event in which everyone blacks out for two minutes and 17 seconds, during which time everyone has a mysterious vision of the future.

Seen as a companion show to LOST, FLASH FORWARD could alternatively debut in the fall, prior to the start of LOST's sixth and final season next winter.
