Aardman Gets Flushed Away with Next Feature

Aardman Animation and DreamWorks are moving ahead with their next feature titled, FLUSHED AWAY, landing a star-studded voice cast that includes Ian McKellen (X-MEN), Andy Serkis (LORD OF THE RINGS) and Hugh Jackman (VAN HELSING), reports THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. McKellen and Serkis are locked in with Jackman in early discussions. The stop-motion feature follows a pampered British rat that gets accidentally flushed down the toilet into the grimy London sewers. McKellen is set to voice the villainous frog and Serkis will play his rat henchman. If Jackman signs, he will voice the lead character, Roddy. Peter Lord will exec produce the pic with Henry Anderson, David Bowers and Sam Fell filling the directors chairs. Dick Clement and Ian LaFrenais have written the screenplay.
