CG and VFX artist Andrew Romatz joins the ranks of award-winning visual effects studio a52.

Award-winning visual effects studio a52 is pleased to welcome talented CG and VFX artist Andrew Romatz to its ranks as CG Lead. Boasting broad experience in all aspects of CG, VFX, and animation, Andrew brings a practical knowledge and ease of ability that will position him as a valued leader on the a52 team.

Andrew Romatz

Romatz joins a52 following turns at Motion Theory, Psyop, and Wolf & Crow, during which he developed his considerable talents in concepting, rigging, animation, lighting, rendering and compositing. During the course of his career Romatz has developed specialties in on-set VFX supervision, tracking and match-moving, pre-visualization for both live-action and motion control, and motion capture.

“Andrew has some really amazing experience under his belt,” noted a52 EP Jennifer Sofio Hall. “He’s already found his own unique style as both an artist and team leader, and we’re excited to have him working with our clients, doing what he does best.” Romatz’s past clients have included A-List brands such as ING, Coca-Cola, O2, Lexus, NYC & Company, Sears and more – experience that has honed his exceptional eye and ability in creating beautiful, seamless CG and VFX work.

Romatz’s signing follows a banner quarter for a52, which recently completed the massive RGIII adidas “Blow Up” spot with Park Pictures Director Lance Acord, Super Bowl XLVII spots for Taco Bell and Hyundai, and a much-lauded campaign for Nescafé – highlights in a steady stream of fantastic and original work.
