72nd Golden Globe Nominations Announced

The nominees for Best Animated Feature Film are Disney’s ‘Big Hero 6,’ Reel FX’s ‘The Book Of Life,’ LAIKA’s ‘The Boxtrolls,’ DreamWorks Animation’s ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2’ and Warner Bros.’ ‘The LEGO Movie.’

BEVERLY HILLS, CA -- Nominations for the 72nd Golden Globe Awards were announced today at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. The nominations were announced by Underworld star Kate Beckinsale, two-time Golden Globe Award-nominee Peter Krause, Paula Patton and Golden Globe winner and five-time nominee Jeremy Piven.

The nominees for Best Animated Feature Film are Disney’s Big Hero 6, Reel FX’s The Book Of Life, LAIKA’s The Boxtrolls, DreamWorks Animation’s How To Train Your Dragon 2 and Warner Bros.’ The LEGO Movie.

Birdman, Boyhood and The Imitation Game were among the top film honorees. Birdman earned seven nominations, including nods for best picture in its category, director, screenplay and acting nods for Michael Keaton and Emma Stone. Boyhood and The Imitation Game earned five nominations apiece.

NBC will air the Golden Globe Awards live January 11 from the Beverly Hills Hotel with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler returning for their third and reportedly final time as hosts.
