4Kids' Summit Media Group Names Lee Ravdin President

The Summit Media Group, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of 4Kids Ent., has named Lee Ravdin as president, replacing Sheldon Hirsch, who recently resigned as ceo of Summit for personal reasons.

A 30-year vet of media buying and planning of kids' media, Ravdin bought media for many toy and game companies, including MGA Ent., Megabloks, ToyBiz, Matchbox, CBS Toys and Galoob. Ravdin started his own media buying agency, Lee Media, in 1981 and ran it through 1999. He is president of Lake End Consulting, a full service media company specializing in the design and execution of media campaigns for toy companies such as MGA Ent. and other clients.

"We are delighted that Lee Ravdin will be heading Summit," saidAlfred R. Kahn, chairman/ceo of 4Kids Ent. "Lee has decades of experience as a media buyer and planner for numerous toy companies. He will be a welcome addition to Summit and can step in seamlessly to run the operation."
