4Kids Ent. Launches 4sight Not for Kids

4Kids Ent. has formed 4sight licensing solutions inc., a new subsidiary, to specialize in the marketing and licensing of brands geared primarily to adults, teens and "tweens."

Headquartered in 4Kids Ent.'s New York City offices, 4sight licensing solutions will build brands through targeted licensing and promotional activities. 4sight will take the lead in the branding efforts for existing brands that 4Kids represents, such as the Royal Air Force, the American Kennel Club and the Cat Fanciers' Assoc. Additional brands will be added to the 4sight stable to become a leader in the licensing and brand building of properties targeting an older demographic than what 4Kids specializes in.

"Given the increased number of brands that we are representing that focus on an older audience, we felt it would be beneficial to organize a new subsidiary primarily devoted to the marketing and licensing of these brands.
