Mark Zoradi, President, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Group, has been added as a keynote speaker at The 3D Entertainment Summit, which will take place at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, California, December 1-2, 2008. The event is the first fully dedicated forum bringing the business of 3-D entertainment into focus.
Zoradi will end the opening day of the summit by showcasing several new pieces of 3-D footage from Disney's upcoming 17 digital 3-D motion pictures set to be released over the next several years.
Zoradi will join previously announced keynote speakers James Cameron, Director and Producer; David Hill, A.M., Chairman and CEO, Fox Sports Television Group and Jeffrey Katzenberg, CEP and President of DreamWorks Animation.
The 3D Entertainment Summit has also added several new speakers including David Arquette, Actor, Director and Producer, Jason Clark, Exec Producer, DreamWorks Animation, Greg Foster, Chairman and President of IMAX Filmed Ent. and Patrick Lussier, Director, MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3-D.
The summit will assemble an estimated 300-400 execs from a cross-section of the entertainment industry including film, television, video gaming, content creation, production, technology and distribution.
From movies and theaters to broadcasting in the home, the 3D Entertainment Summit will be the first industry event to educate entertainment executives about content creation, production, and distribution of this exciting and revolutionary technology.
