3 Ring Circus, a leading creative branding firm offering services in strategy, design, image and production, continues its expansion, naming Andrew Hoeveler as designer.
Regarding the appointment, ceo John Sideropoulos said, "What attracted us to Andrew was his passion for excellence and his talents as a designer and animator." Added Hoeveler, "I am excited to work in an environment that is so supportive of my continued growth as a designer. I am a concept-driven, rather than 'style-chasing' designer, and I was pleased to find that same perspective at 3 Ring Circus. Here, I can contribute to a growing portfolio of truly innovative design."
Hoeveler had been working on a freelance basis with 3 Ring Circus for the past several months. Prior to his work for 3 Ring, he was a freelance designer/animator with Brand New School, Logan, yu+Co, Stardust, Picture Mill and Montgomery-Cobb, among others. Concurrently, he worked on independent jobs directly with clients like Mattel and DirecTV.
He started his career as an independent freelance animator/designer with several commercial editorial companies such as Spot Welders, Inside/Out, Nomad and Lost Planet. During this time, he designed and animated projects for their advertising agency clientele, which included Goodby Silverstein & Partners, Young & Rubicam, DDB Needham, TeamOne and Chiat Day.
