March will focus on Production Technology. Paul Peszko is going to write on how DreamWorks is integrating digital technology with traditional animation in their latest release The Road to El Dorado. Eric Huelsman will have an interview with Mike Milne the man behind the amazing Walking with Dinosaurs, a show which took Britain by storm and is now coming to the U.S. His production method is sure to surprise everyone! Howard Beckerman is going to take a historical look at the early "real time" animation technique, Mobilux. He is also going to discuss other techniques that attempted to simulate animation. We will also feature a tribute to Disney's Marc Davis and our regional focus will be on Korea.
Next month, we are also starting two new regular columns. Lee Dannacher will profile a new Internet animation company each and every month. Lee will kick off her column with a closer look at Mondo Media, makers of such Web hits as Thugs on Film and Like, News. Jackie Kubin is becoming our new resident gaming expert and is beginning her series with an interview with David Kirk, author of Miss Spider's Tea Party, which has also been recently published on CD-ROM.
