(1988) (0:14)

Filmed in black and white, this seems to have vague Eraserhead (David Lynch) undertones.
A hideous creature repeatedly rubs an eraser-shaped protuberance on its head, which seems to cause bar-codes to animate, and compass-creatures to bounce and draw across the white landscape.

This slowly changes to a horrible room in which a couple rubs their leprous limbs, shakes in bed, and generally exhibits extreme discomfort, while scribbling hands seem to either ignore them or record the details immediately outside.

The film is hard to watch once the couple takes the stage, but the first half is engrossing. The joke seems to be the idea of the eraser-topped creature as a god who is controlling our lives, causing human misery by merely touching himself.
