GoFish Corp. announced the upcoming launch of its latest Internet series, HIDDEN CELEBRITY WEBCAM. The interactive program, sponsored by the 2007 MTV Movie Awards, will premiere on the GoFish Network May 17, 2007.

HIDDEN CELEBRITY WEBCAM is created by Icebox. The animated parody gives audiences a voyeur's glimpse into the most private -- and unwittingly embarrassing -- moments of some of Hollywood's most notorious celebrities as imagined by series creator, Nell Scovell.

Electronic Arts Inc. today announced the upcoming release of THE SIMPSONS GAME (working title). Created in partnership with Gracie Films and 20th Century Fox Television and 20th Century Fox Licensing and Merchandising, THE SIMPSONS GAME features a storyline crafted by the TV show's Emmy Award-winning writers. GlobalFun, a wireless entertainment development and publishing company, and have teamed up to develop mobile games.

The deal sees GlobalFun developing a mobile game based on the [adult swim] program THE BRAK SHOW. The mobile game is a sim/social type of game in the vein of THE SIMS and contains well-known elements and characters from the popular show. GlobalFun will also, for certain selected markets, distribute the title to its carrier and B2C.

Ad Agency Sells Toon to Comedy Central

Advertising agency, J Walter Thompson, has inked an agreement with Comedy Central to develop its FLEX 'N' ZEPHYR animated shorts for, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. The shorts series were an agency experiment to help brand clients better target given demos. JWT's 15-month-old arm, the Nursery, produces the animated shorts, which are geared toward young males.

LazyAnimation Launches Website

LazyAnimation, which specializes in 2D and 3D animation, has launched its website, the third business venture for Jane Kirk's Copenhagen, Denmark-based firm. LazyAnimation's production facilities are located in Cebu City, Philippines.

"We can animate anything under the sun," said LazyAnimation's top animator Owen Cartegena.

Kirk said that the Philippines have always been her top choice when it comes to graphics. "Not only do we offer our clients low cost but the quality is superb, just superb."

Gameloft to Bring Shrek the Third to Mobile Gamers

Gameloft has signed a domestic and international licensing agreement with DreamWorks Animation to produce a mobile game based on the animated feature film, SHREK THE THIRD, in theaters May 18, 2007. SHREK THE THIRD, the mobile game, is scheduled for release across 170 operators in more than 75 countries, in conjunction with the movie.

The mobile game will closely follow the film's storyline of the film with appearances from all the main characters.
