LE RAVISSEMENT DE FRANK N. STEIN
La création de la vie et la naissance d'un sentiment amoureux sont les thèmes du "ravissement de Frank N. Stein", représentés dans ce film par la lente formation d'une image toujours plus réaliste.
Cette image est construite au moyen d'un long travelling avant, simulant la marche d'un personnage, ainsi que par le décor de plus en plus complexe et précis dans lequel il progresse, qui figure son évolution jusqú à ce qu'il soit supposé devenir un être humain.
Finalement, un contrechamp restitue l'image achevée : le ravissement de Frank N. Stein devant sa fiancée.
Die Erschaffung des Lebens und die Enstehung eines Gefühls der Liebe sind die Themen des "Entzückens des Frank N. Stein". Im Film werden sie dargestellt durch die langsame Entstehung eines immer realistischer werdenden Bildes.
Dieses Bild entsteht mittels einer langen Vorwärtsfahrt, die den Weg einer Person vortäuscht, sowie durch die zunehmend präziser und reichhaltiger werdende Umgebung durch die sie schreitet. Dies stellt ihre Entwicklung bis zum Punkt der Menschwerdung dar.
Der Schluss, in einer Gegeneinstellung, zeigt das vollendete Bild : das Entzücken des Frank N. Stein angesichts seiner Braut.
The creating of life and the emergence of a feeling of love go to make up the themes of "The ravishing of Franc N. Stein". They are represented by the film's gradual construction of an increasingly realist image.
This image is built up by the means of a long tracking shot suggestive of a person walking, likewise by more and more complex and exact background through which he moves, and which depicts his evolution to the point where he can be regarded as a human being.
Finally a revereshot establishes the completed image : the ravishing of Franc N. Stein in the presence of his fiancée.
