Canadian animation legend Frédéric Back is now celebrating his seventy-second birthday, his fiftieth anniversary as an illustrator, and his twenty-sixth year as an animator who has been honored throughout the world for his remarkable artistry. The artwork shown in the AWN Gallery coincides with the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences new exhibition "Artistry in Animation: The Drawings of Frédéric Back," opening on July 9th, 1996 --Preview week June 26 - July 3.		Frédéric Back, animateur légendaire, célèbre son 72e anniversaire, son 50e anniversaire comme illustrateur et sa 26e année en tant qu'animateur reconnu et primé dans le monde entier pour son remarquable travail d'artiste. La présentation de ces oeuvres coincide avec l'ouverture de l'exposition "Talent en animation : Les dessins de Frédéric Back" présentée du 9 juillet au 25 aout à l'Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences en collaboration avec le Consulat du Canada - Avant première du 26 juin au 3 juillet.
