Playing Bond - Short movie

Hey guys,

I wanted to show you my short. It's a homage to James Bond franchise, created entirely by myself. All the animation, rendering, compositing, editing and color grading was done by me. Initially the idea came to me sometime in March and It took a couple of months (I worked spontaneously during my free time, no rush).
The goal was to create a bond-like chase scene from the 60's/70's so no handheld camera, quick cuts and weird angles. Everything had to look simple. The only handheld shot was "the blimp" shot because I forgot my tripod...
I shot this on an oldschool Proskar 16 2x anamorphic adapter mounted to a regular Canon 50mm fd lens (that setup created some challenges during tracking). I used Blackmagic Pocket Camera for all the shots (the pov shot was done by mounting the camera onto a bumper with suction cup and two dog collars wrapped around car grill). As for the VFX, I tracked the footage in Boujou and SynthEyes, exported into Maya and rendered using Maxwell Render. Maxwell really helped a lot and allowed me to focus on the creative side rather than fixing light, settings, etc. Everything was composited and color graded (using FilmConvert) in After Effects. Premiere Pro was used for the final editing.

Great job. Those easter egg

Great job. Those easter egg were a nice touch but I only found four. How many easter eggs did you put into this clip?

A little off topic, in case you did not know, there is a series called "The Hire". You could check it out on YouTube, the first one is the best.

Thanks! Yes, I've seen "The

Thanks! Yes, I've seen "The Hire", its great although I was inspired by 1978 movie "The Driver".

I wouldn't call them easter eggs, more like slight references to the previous movies.  There's more than four though. :)
