Summer Course in Motion Capture at San Jose State University

San Jose State University is offering a course in motion capture this summer. The College of Humanities and the Arts and the College of enginneering are collaborating with the Phasespace motion capture company to produce the course, which also includes instruction in the Motion Builder software for mapping capture files to 3D models. Enrollment is through Special Sessions, so anyone may enroll.

The course occurs from July 19 to August 18. All instruction is on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, but students will have access to the motion capture technology and technical consultation throughout the week during the period of instruction. It costs $600 for the 3-unit course—an incredible bargain. All instruction is by a team of motion capture professionals.
