DALLAS/FORTWORTH: Creating entertainment in today's high-tech environment may seem otherworldly, but it's not. Take a look behind the scenes and talk with the shamen who create some of the top games, movies, and commercials on the market today at Industry Giants 2012: Visual Effects, Animation and Game Forum. Now in its second decade, the annual conference features a distinctive lineup of more than a dozen industry professionals working in animation and visual effects for film, television, and games.

The Industry Giants forum and panel discussion takes place Saturday, September 22, 2012 from9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the historic Kessler Theater, 1230 W. Davis St. Dallas, Texas 75208.The Industry Giants MasterClasses will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 11:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.at Motus Digital, 2805 East Plano Parkway, Suite 250 Plano, TX 75074. Tickets can be purchased in advance at IndustryGiants.org, or at the venue the day of the event, space permitting.

Hosted annually the nonprofit animators' group, A Bunch of Short Guys, Industry Giants 2012 offers two full days of learning, discussions and networking. The Industry Giants forum and panel discussion includes individual presentations by industry professionals followed by a panel discussion on creative approaches and methods. The Industry Giants MasterClasses include industry software skills and techniques taught by leading industry professionals.

A Bunch of Short Guys (ABOSG) is a non-profit organization that fosters education and career development for students and professionals in the animation and visual effects industry.
