Animation possibilities in US and Australia

Hi guys,

Am from India and I've been crazy about animation for as long as I can remember...I want to take a proper education in this field and am searching for animation schools in US and Australia. Am specifically looking for a degree program as opposed to a certificate or diploma...Further, am not so sure about the job opportunities for non-nationals in US and Aus...this concerns me specially because I don't want to spend a lot on education abroad and then end up without a license to work there (yikes!! http://forums.awn.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)...all factors like work permit, etc come into place...so in this respect, can anyone please guide me which place is better suited for international students http://forums.awn.com/images/smilies/confused.gif...

Also, after some researching on the net, I found a good course at Raffles School of Design and Commerce in Australia and lots of amazing courses in US from Academy of Art, Full Sail, etc...however, I have no clue about the quality and reputation of Raffles...if anyone knows about the same can you please guide me and also suggest any other good schools? http://forums.awn.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
