Hey everyone. A while ago I was asking for some advice in a different thread, and someone told me that I should go ahead and post some of my artwork. I don't consider myself a confident drawer, therefore the point of this post is purely from a critique-seeking standpoint. I draw off an on, and I really want to get better. Although I've had no formal training apart from high school art classes. Therefore any advice you guys could give me would be great.
A lot of my work is from TV shows, comic books, etc. Therefore I need help creating original characters, as they all come out looking kind of uniform and uninteresting. The images below are from a Phil Hester comic. Again, all advice is appreciated.
