Hello everyone,
I am a student currently working on my thesis and Maya is central to my thesis. Currently, I am mainly interested in animation and utilizing MEL and the C++ API.
My problem is that I have recently "upgraded" my at-home system to Vista and I still have Maya 7 on my old XP machine. I am trying to determine whether or not it makes sense to upgrade from Maya 7 to Maya 2008 so I can transfer my work to my new Vista-box or just stay with the old XP-box and work with Maya 7 on that machine.
I thought it would be best to reach out to the community to see what the general consensus was, thank you for your help.
