I am in need of creating some fire. I tried to create it with Maya's fluid effects and the particles are not responding the same way on my computer as on others (even though defaults are use on both). I'm not sure why this is, but I also wanted to know another way to create it that would help produce light without creating a light along side it. Even a link to a tutorial would be helpful, thank you.
