Studying Animation in India or abroad?

Hi,

I am currently pursuing my final year in Bachelors Of Business Management(3 year degree program) in Bangalore, India. About a year and a half ago I realised that I don't want to pursue a career in Business, I want to get into Animation. I am not an aritst and neither do have an art background. I'm looking at a course which would help me build myself from scratch.

I am a little confused as to if I should study Animation here in India for a couple of years and then work for a year or so before applying for a post grad in the States or Canada or if I shoud apply abroad right away for an undergraduate course in Animation. Can someone please help me out with this?
Also, does anyone know about Algonquin college in Ottawa and it's 3 year animation program?
