Yeah, we went through this already.
April 6, 2006 may be the 100th birthday of a particular animated film called Humorous Phases ... , but it is not the 100th birthday of animation. There was animation released prior to 1906, including animation by Blackton.
Much of animation's historical record of that era has been lost. Humorous Phases can be more accurately described as
the oldest surviving film that is almost entirely animated.
Aw man; I didn't get animation anything... And now I have to get it a belated birthday card...:D
