I have a Flash question for all the gurus out there. After importing a sound file into the fla, can you edit the flie so that it will start half way through. I have tried useing the edit window, but to no avail. Any help would be great, thanks!

Yes.
Go to the edit window and inbetween the two waveforms ss a small tab. You can drag it forward to a particular section and the sound should play from that point.
Saying that, I always make sure my sound files are edited before I take them into flash, it saves no end of bother.
