Intersticios A film by Marina Estela Graca (In production, release date: 2000)

Before being film or even art, animation is choreography; geometric and diachronic relation between elements which shape change more or less between frames. Mobile elements will move by metamorphose, mixing together with the background. They are made of surfaces that joint and gloss over like onion skins. These pieces will be animated as different objects. In the aspect and behaviour, they are between little and big animals, toys and robots. They move in an interstitial world: somewhere between nursery rhyme illustrations and visions issued from scientific instruments and devices.
