" Geometric Fables " is
the very first animated series
entirely made with 3D Computer Animation in the world.
It has now become a classic in this field.
Dedicated to young children, the Geometric Fables have been broadcasted
worldwide, in Europe, Asia and Latin America on most influencial TV Channels
: Canal +, France 3 WDR, Canal + Spain, TVI Portugal, FUJI TV, VPRO-NOS,
Islandic Broadcasting Corporation, RAI 1, TRT, Singapore Broadcasting Corporation,
DRS... The entire collection is composed of 50 episodes of 5 minutes each,
packaged around 5 themes, Geometry, Colors, Numbers, Opposites and Music,
and have been conceived as both an educational and an entertaining programme.
Each episode is a free adaptation of a fable by Esope, made by Pierre Perret,
a very famours french singer, who wrote a new text to fit with the new
graphic style.
Each episode contains a song introducing the theme, a short funny scene
that allow the educative aproach of the different themes of the series,
and the story where we meet with the well-known characters of the Fables,
in action: the quick and clever Rat, the boastful Hare, the smart and obstinate
Tortoise, the Storck that wants to take its revenge, the ugly Wolf, the
innocent Lamb... All those animals that chilhood is haunted by !
The series is also available in its short version (50
x 3') composed of the stories only.
