The 14th Annual San Diego Asian Film Festival 2013 will once again be showcasing animated short films produced by animators of Asian ethnicities in a 90-minute all-animation program. All forms of animation (traditional, claymation, stop-motion, flash, CGI, etc) will be accepted for consideration into this competitive festival. Films by all animators (of all ethnicities) pertaining to Asian issues and themes will also be considered. Please submit DVD screeners for consideration or provide web links for online previews. If selected, all films will be screened in glorious HD 1080p format. A Best Animated Short Film Award will be awarded with prizes to be determined.<!-- The year 2013 will be SDAFF's 14th year of celebrating the best in Asian Cinema in sunny San Diego. Last year, SDAFF screened over 150 films in 8 days with many industry celebrities in attendance. The all-animation program was a resounding success with 2 sold out shows due to popular demand. ANIMA2013 will take place in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, from October 10th through 12th, 2013. This seventh edition of Argentina's most relevant animation festival will be dedicated to exploring the relationship between animation and the other arts.

The Festival is open for short and feature animation films of every genre and topic, including school productions. Participation is open for animation shorts from all over the world - produced for film, television, video or the Internet - with special interest in those from Latin America.
